#The dual core of Core 2 Duo share 4MB L2 catch but cores of Turion 64 X2 only have 512KB for each. The more L2 catch will decrease the data waiting time of processor and help speeding up.
#Core 2 Duo has a better battery life because of Intel Dynamic Power Coordination and Dynamic Catch Sizing.
#Core 2 Duo uses socket M as Core Duo does, users can upgrade from exist systems; but Turion 64 X2 require the new socket S1 to install, this blocks the upgrading possibilities from former system.
#Compare Core 2 Duo and Turion 64 X 2 at same processor price, Core 2 Duo provides better performance.
