Javascript otevření stránky v novém okně

Mám kód kde si nastavím čas a po uplynutí se stránka přesměruje. Jak to ale udělat aby se stránka místo přesměrování otevřela v novém okně? Přidával jsem za odkaz do kódu target="_blank" ale nefunguje mi to.
