Ako pripojit sietovu tlaciaren IBM Infoprint 1312
riesim taky problem, ktory sa tu uz snad niekde riesil, ale ho neviem najst. tak ma nakopnite na spravny smer, ak bude potrebne.
Do lokalnej siete je pripojenych 11 PC od IBM, su prepojene switchom, na kazdom bezi WinXP Prof. + SP2 + posledne zaplaty, zakupeny NOD32 a zakladny windows firewall. Mam dalej laserovu tlaciaren IBM infoprint 1312, ktora je tiez prepojena do switchu. Chcel by som, aby sa z nej dalo tlacit z hociktoreho PC. Tato tlaciaren bola predtym prepojena s jednym pc (budem ho volat PC01) cez klasicky USB port. ked pridam tlaciaren ako sietovu pomocou sprievodcu na ostatnych PC, tak ju hlasi ako IBM Infoprint 1312 na "PC01". Da sa tlacit z kazdeho PC, avsak ak vypnem PC01, uz sa tlacit neda.
ked odojim usb, na ostatnych pc dam hladat tu tlaciaren, najde ju, ale zas len pod tym nazvom ze je pripojena k PC01.
mam odinstalovat nejake drivre z toho povodneho PC? alebo ako mam postupovat? viem nejako zistit ip adresu tlaciarne? ze by som ju potom manualne zadaval.

no, předpokládám, že postup bude stejný, jako u jakékoliv jiné síťové tiskárny, musí se pro práci v síti nakonfigurovat. Buďto přímo přes tlačítka ovládacího panelu tiskárny (např. některé HP a jo, je to opruz, ale jde to) nebo přes ovládací software, který se dodává s tiskárnou (nebo s příslušnou síťovou kartou). O aku sietovu kartu ide? Tlaciaren ma otvor na klasicky konektor RJ-45 a sietovym kablom je zasunuty do switchu.
edit: niekto na poradne ma taky podpis: pol dna hladas riesenie problemu na internete a potom ho najdes v manuali. konecne mi bolo odovzdane CD s ovladacmi a navodom, skusim to podla neho a popripade sa ozvem, ci sa podarilo.

Step 1: Install a custom printer driver and TCP/IP network support
1 Launch the drivers CD. If the drivers CD is already running, click Back to return to the first screen.
2 Click Printer Software.
3 Click Agree on the Printer Software License Agreement.
4 Select Custom install, and then click Next.
5 Click Local Computer, and then click Next.
6 When the list of software components is displayed, select the following:
– Printer Drivers (to obtain a custom driver for your printer)
– Network Support (TCP/IP)
Note: The BiDi Support component, required for network support, is automatically selected when the

7 Click Next.
8 When the list of printers is displayed, select the model of the printer you want to install, and then click Add.
9 Click Next.
10 On the Drivers and BiDi Support tabs, modify any settings necessary.
Note: Since BiDi Support was automatically selected in step 6, you must remove the check mark from
the status window if you do not want to receive real-time job status information or alerts for
printing problems.
11 On the Network tab, select TCP/IP.
Note: If a shaded check mark is beside an option, support for that environment is already installed
and will be updated with this installation.
12 Click Finish to complete the printer software installation.
13 Restart the computer. If necessary, remove the drivers CD first.
Files are copied to the computer and printer objects are created in the Windows printers folder. A message

a teraz Step 2: Create a Network Port
1 Click Start Settings Printers.
2 Select the printer you just created.
3 Click File Properties.
4 Click Ports, and then click Add Port.
5 Click Network Port, and then click New Port.
6 Enter the information to create the port.
a Assign a logical port name. This can be any name that you associate with the printer, such as
“Color1_lab4.” This name eventually appears in the list of available ports.
b Select the IP address of your printer from the list. If the IP address is not listed, click Enter TCP/IP
address or Name of Print Server, and then enter the address in the IP address text box.
If you don’t know the IP address, print a network setup page and look under the TCP/IP heading. For
help, see “Printing a network setup page” on page 24.
c Check the option to Set this protocol to be the default protocol.
d Click OK. The new port is assigned to the printer.
7 Print a test page to verify printer installation.
– If the Printer Properties window is still open, click Print Test Page on the General tab.
– If you have closed Printer Properties, do the following:
a Click Start Settings Printers.
b Select the printer you just created.

c Click File Properties.
d On the General tab, click Print Test Page.
When a test page prints successfully, client setup is complete.
dostal som sa po bod "6 Enter the information to create the port" kde musim zadat meno a IP adresu tlaciarne, avsak IP neviem zistit. v pomockach je, ze
a na 24. strane je:
predpokladam, ze by som sa z vytlacenej stranky dozvedel IP adresu tlaciarne. ako na to?
predpokladam, ze pri pripojeni do site si postupoval podle navodu. Pokud mate v siti DHCP serveru, doporucuju nastavit na nem, aby tiskarne prideloval pevnou IP adresu. Pokud tam dhcp neni, bude mit tiskarnu adresu nejspis 169.225.<a dva posledni oktety ( no proste dva pary ) z MAC adresy>. Budes muset na ni nastavit IP adresu takovou, aby byla z rozsahu vasi site.
no nakoniec sa problem redukoval na zistenie IP adresy tlaciarne. zdal sa to byt zacarovany kruh, pretoze tu IP adresu som mohol zistit/menit cez webove rozhranie tlaciarne (ktore tato tlaciaren ma, ako som zistil), avsak aby som sa don dostal, potreboval som IP adresu
nakoniec som sa prestural 300 stranovym manualom + pdf manualom k tlaciarni a zistil som, ze IP adresu mi vytlaci tlaciaren a to takto: vypnem tlaciaren z prudu, z USB aj z RJ-45 konektora, zapnem naspat do el. siete, zapnem a nasledne zastrcim sietovy kabel do RJ-45ky. Po chvili tlaciaren vychrli papiere, kde danu IP adresu najdem. Potom je to uz len klasicky preklikavaci wizzard na kazdom klientskom PC, kde dam pridat novu tlaciaren > sietovu tlaciaren > zadam IP adresu (format: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx), doinstaluju sa ovladace a uz to frci
